An MRI machine is a powerful magnet. Because of that, we ask that you do not wear anything that has metal on it (zippers, buttons, etc.). You also have the option of changing into a gown, provided by our facility, for the scan. If you wear jewelry, you will need to take it off and can put it in a secure locker prior to going into the scanner. |
